VP's daughter Oludamilola marries Seun Bakare, son of billionaire Bola Shagaya 

The couple's traditional wedding took place on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.



Oludamilola, daughter of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Seun Bakare, son of billionaire businesswoman, Bola Shagaya on Saturday, March 17, 2018, held their church wedding in Abuja.
The couple's traditional wedding took place on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.



The two ceremonies were on a low-key as the Vice President insisted that he did not want an elaborate wedding for his daughter given the mood of the nation.

Reports said that Osinbajo was pressured to make it a society wedding but he rejected all the appeals. He was said to have also warned guests not to spray money at the event

It is believed that Osinbajo made the decision following the backlash that trailed President Muhammadu Buhari after he attended the grand wedding ceremony of the children of Governors Abdullahi Ganduje and Abiola Ajimobi of Kano and Oyo States respectively.

Court halts Rihanna shooting case for mental health review ALos Angeles judge has suspended the attempted murder case against Ivanna Ortiz, the woman accused of firing 20 shots at Rihanna’s home, after finding evidence to question her mental competency, according to correspondence. Judge Shannon Cooley halted proceedings on May 20 after meeting privately with Ortiz’s public defender. A court source confirmed to Rolling Stone on May 21 that the judge found sufficient grounds to refer Ortiz to the county’s mental health court.
